Climate change: Will planting millions of trees really save the planet?
Will planting trees really help climate change? Is Britain equipped to meet its 30,000,000 trees planted a year target, and then manage those forests? While it is generally agreed that planting trees near rivers can help in flood defences, can the deployment of a natural army really help in the fight against climate change?
