Council commits to carbon neutrality by 2030.

Stroud District Council are investing in Water Source Heat Pumps to heat 2 of their biggest buildings, the Ebley Hill head quarters and Briscombe Court Mill.

The new heating systems could potentially save 156 tonnes of CO2 emmissions per year, and with an annual payment from the non-domestic RHI the majority of the installtion cost will be recovere dover 20 years.

The council have committed to the whole district being carbon neutral by 2030.
