Farmers – Get on board!

Ground source heat pumps are an efficient way of producing heat, which offer financial incentives and reduced electricity costs to run. The impact on energy bills is between 30 and 70% and with the heat available to be used for processes such as hay drying, poultry barns and so forth, this is an opportunity not to be overlooked.
The systems can generate up to 4 times the heat output for every unit of electricity input making them an extremely efficient way of producing heat for a farm. Combine this saving with the available Renewable Heat Incentive and it is understandable why more and more farms across the country are embarking on lucrative on-site ground source heat pump installations. Some examples have paid for themselves within 7 years.
The RHI is available to businesses and provides financial incentives to increase their use and resilience on renewable heat sources. The programme deadline for applications has been extended until March 2020.
The RHI is available to the Open-Loop GSHP systems H.D. Services Ltd install, which offer the additional benefit of an independent water supply as our open-loop systems utilise groundwater as a heat source. Please visit www.hdgeothermal.co.uk for more information.
