The domestic RHI aims to provide long term financial support for property owners who install renewable heating systems and is due to be launched by this Easter. Property owners will receive quarterly payments for seven years to help cover the cost of installing a renewable heating system. Eligible technologies include air source heat pumps, biomass boilers, ground source heat pumps and solar thermal systems.

At events over hte next few weeks, attendees will not only be able to learn about the domestic RHI scheme, but they will also be able to find out how the domestic RHI and the Green Deal will work together to ensure that all participants benefit from having a smarter, warmer home.

DECC have already exhibited at Energy Now Expo, Ecobuild and the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show and will be attending another dozen events nationwide, including:

New tariffs and technologies have also been announced for the non-domestic RHI, so DECC will also cover the opportunities on offer to commercial and public buildings at these events.
