Demand for heat pump installers set to soar
In response to the Part L Future Homes Consultation, the Government has announced that from 2025, no new builds will be fitted with fossil fuel heating, such as gas boilers. Instead, low-carbon heating alternatives must be installed – specifically heat pumps.
So what does this mean for installers? Government acknowledged that this means expanding and training the installer base and establishing a heat pump-ready workforce to meet the Future Homes Standard.
