Eco Workshop: ‘Heat & Energy’ Saturday 15th August
During last month’s summer statement, Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the ‘Green Homes Grant’ as part of the government’s attempt to see the UK build back better.
The Green Homes Grant provides homeowners with vouchers for energy efficiency improvements, in which the government will cover two-thirds of the cost. Launching in September, as well as boosting the economy, it is hoped the scheme will help the UK meet its 2050 target of achieving net zero carbon emissions – and with domestic consumption making up 28% of energy use (second only to transportation), our homes are a good place to start in the battle against climate change.
Whether your motivation is saving the environment or saving money, our Eco Workshop on Heating & Energy is your opportunity to get the facts straight from the experts. We’ll be discussing the Green Homes Grant, as well as exploring conventional and renewable heating options, insulation and ventilation and the latest incentives such as the brand new Heat Pump Tariff.
