Case Studies: Live Interviews
Tuesday 13th December – 7pm to 8:30pm
The NSBRC website currently features 28 fantastic real-life case studies – highlighting the successes of previous NSBRC visitors who have gone on to complete their dream homes.
During this free online surgery – the final in a series of events to celebrate 15 years of the NSBRC – the pages of the NSBRC website will be bought to life with two of the case studies being interviewed.
They’ll share their stories, what’s worked, what hasn’t, what they might do differently, along with their ‘top tips’ for people starting out on a project. The session will conclude with our presenters answering your questions live.
Presenters include:
7pm – Brief introduction from Harvey Fremlin, managing director of the NSBRC followed by thirty minutes in conversation with Mike Hardwick. Mike has had a long relationship with the NSBRC and presented their three day self build course for several years, as well as helping many NSBRC visitors on the Helpdesk. Hear about Mike’s own experience self building his brick and block family home.
7:30pm – In conversation with Philip Oliver. Philip and his wife completed their beautifully modern, timber constructed, self build located in Surrey back in June 2020, using a range of the NSBRC’s resources and exhibitors to build their knowledge & confidence along the way.
8pm – Question Time. Get your burning questions answered by our case studies.
All attendees will receive a link to free tickets to the NSBRC Winter Show held at the NSBRC on Friday 27th to Sunday 29th January 2023.
