1 million heat pumps by 2035
Long term signals are needed to wean people off fossil fuels is the belief of the GSHPA chairman Bean Beanland.
In an article written by David Blackman for Utility Week, and re-published by Edie.net, the GSHPA has announced that they will be lobbying the government to provide capital grants for the installation of heat pumps as part of a new support system for low carbon heating, which would likely replace the Renewable Het Incentive, due to end in 2021.
